Holston could use your help!

What makes Holston Camp and Retreat Center unique is our location in the High Country of western North Carolina where the rocky peaks of Beech, Sugar and Grandfather Mountains embrace the towns of Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. We are cool in the hot summer months and we are really cold in the winter. That means we have great year-round activities waiting for you: swimming, boating, rock-climbing, zip-lines, hiking and camping in the summer; and skiing, ice skating, and snow tubing in the winter. Autumn colors are beautiful in the High Country which hosts many entertaining cultural events and festivals.

Youth Group Retreats

Our staff can help you with activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, rock-climbing, zip-lines, team building, archery, and campfires. Stay in private rooms, cottages with bunks, or “rough it” in our rustic cabins. Let us make the most of your get-away and ensure that your retreat at Holston is a memorable one. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, athletic teams, schools, and youth groups are all welcome. Call (844) 465-7866.
